Help & hellos

We're a small team, and we read everything.

The fastest way to reach Cuna's reading nook is by email — we usually reply within a day or two. Tell us what's happening; we'll try to make it right.

Privacy

Deleting your data any time, from inside Cuna.

You can remove a single story, a child profile, or your entire account without leaving the app. Everything destructive sits behind your parental PIN.

Delete individual items

For when you want to tidy up the library without saying goodbye to the whole account. No email needed.

  • A single story: Library → tap the story → menu → Delete. Removes the script, generated audio, and cover art.
  • A child profile: Profiles → Edit → Delete. Cascades to every story, custom character, favorite, and playlist that belonged to that child.
  • A custom character: Characters → tap the character → Delete. The portrait and memory go with it.

Delete your entire account

Open Cuna → enter your parental PIN to reach Settings → Delete account → confirm twice. The app signs you out as soon as the deletion completes.

This wipes your account, all child profiles, every story and custom character, all generated audio and cover images, your episodic memories and playlists, and your RevenueCat customer record. Cancellations of any active Apple or Google subscription happen through the store, not through Cuna.

What we delete, and what we have to keep

Deleted immediately
Account, child profiles, stories, custom characters, generated audio and image files, episodic memories, custom playlists, purchase records on our servers, analytics events, and the RevenueCat customer record.
Kept by Apple and Google
Anonymized payment receipts retained by the App Store and Google Play per their own policies. We don’t have access to delete those; manage any active subscription through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions or Google Play → Subscriptions.
Kept by Cuna (non-identifying only)
Aggregate, anonymized usage counts for capacity planning and abuse prevention. None of it links back to your account or child.
Backups roll over within 30 days
Incremental database backups age out automatically, so any residual record in a snapshot disappears on the standard 30-day cycle described in §7 of our privacy policy.

Common questions

Asked & answered in plain words.

How does pricing work?

One Cuna Star = one new story. You can buy Stars in packs of 1, 5, 10, or 25, or subscribe to Cuna Premium ($14.99 / month or $149.99 / year — 2 months free). Premium includes 5 Stars each month plus premium voices, premium artwork, and character memory.

What ages is Cuna designed for?

Cuna has three age tiers: 0–2, 3–5, and 6–9. Story length, vocabulary, and pacing adapt to the age tier you pick for each child profile.

How do I cancel my subscription?

From the App Store (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Subscriptions). We don't process payments directly, so cancellations happen through the store.

How do I delete my account or data?

See “Deleting your data” above for partial (single story, profile, or character) and full account deletion — both are in-app, behind your parental PIN. If you can no longer sign in, email support@cunastories.com from the address on the account and we’ll delete it for you.

What if Cuna writes something I don't love?

AI is great, but not perfect. If a story takes a turn you'd rather it hadn't, email us with the story title — we'll investigate and tune the guardrails. Every script also passes a child-safety moderation check before it reaches the player.

Will Cuna ever show ads?

No. Cuna is committed to Apple's Made for Kids category — that means no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, ever. The only money flowing through the app is the subscription or Cuna Stars you choose to buy.
